Dua Lipa, whose crew gave La Barbecue a two-day heads up on the artist's visit, stopped by La Barbecue with a group of eight. La Barbecue owner Ali Clem told the Statesman the artist was, "Super nice."
Dua Lipa is in Austin for a headliner performance at Austin City Limits Music Fest. She'll be performing weekend one and weekend two on Saturday at 8:20 p.m. on the American Express stage. One of the biggest pop stars in the world, Dua Lipa is a performer with a myriad of hit songs that you won't want to miss.
La Barbecue owner Ali Clem also got a visit from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in March when the royals were in town for the South by Southwest Festival and Conference.

The two got their food to-go after a 30-minute visit that included photos with the staff and an introduction to 12-year La Barbecue veteran Francisco Saucedo, who returned to the restaurant following his morning shift to meet the couple.
