The Bold and the Beautiful is not a show that plays a lot of history. Destiny, yes. History, not so much. So it didn’t go without notice that Quinn was recently mentioned — and extensively, too. As Carter and Hope issued a glaring reminder that Forrester Creations has no HR department, he brought up his “office romance” with Quinn. (As if all he’d done was date Martha from Accounting rather than schtup the boss’ sexually unsatisfied wife!)
Bold & Beautiful could have just had Carter reference his more recent relationship with colleague Katie. But instead, it chose to remind us all of “the one that got away” from the hunk. Why? Our hunch is that Quinn is about to make a comeback — and she’s much-needed, too.
On one end of the canvas, Eric’s former wife could shake up his too-stable relationship with “other woman” Donna. On another, Quinn could bring out the green-eyed monster in Sheila as she hangs out an Il Giardino and throws sparks with ex-hubby Deacon.

Finally, Quinn could complicate Hope and Carter’s budding romance by saying that she’d dumped her lover out of fear that she’d be costing him a family. Now, however, she believes that maybe he wasn’t kidding when he said their love was enough. Of course, now he’s on the verge of starting something with a younger woman with whom he could have a family!
Who would he choose? We’d love to find out.
Since Rena Sofer is now back at General Hospital playing Lois, Quinn would have to be recast — not that Bold & Beautiful has any trepidation about doing that. (Right, Taylor?) And we could imagine a few actresses filling the part nicely. Maybe Beverly Hills, 90210 alum Tiffani Thiessen? Guiding Light vet Wendy Moniz (if Yellowstone actually comes to an end)? Melrose Place pot-stirrer Laura Leighton (if the revival of that show doesn’t take flight)?
