Life hasn’t been easy on Selena Gomez. The singer has experienced a roller coaster of a journey until this moment, riding out the highs, while managing to stay afloat during the lows. An aspect of her that fans believe had been sticking out like a sore thumb was her personal life.
Many speculate that the 32-year-old has still not been able to move on from her relationship with Justin Bieber. While her relationship with Benny Blanco might have gone a long way in shutting these rumors down, the Ice Cream singer’s latest revelation about her medical problems has fans holding back their tears.

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have been making the headlines for a long time now for their PDA heavy relationship. Having sparked rumors in the fag end of 2023, it didn’t take long for the couple to go official, with Gomez posting a picture of herself on Instagram last December.
And the couple hasn’t turned back ever since, going on numerous dates and gracing red carpets together. What makes this relationship special is how the duo have never shied away from talking about each other in the public.
They never miss any opportunity to share their PDA laden pictures, going on to become a fan favorite couple in no time. What sparks the most adorable mass reaction among the fans is the fact that they won’t shup up about each other. The 36-year-old has even gone on to admit that he couldn’t help but look forward to having kids with Gomez. Even she couldn’t hide her excitement, as she said,
“He can’t lie. After the interview (with Howard Stern), I was dying laughing. Like, ‘Anything else you wanted to put out there?’” (Vanity Fair)
Though the two couldn’t be more excited for what the future holds for them, yet having kids is where things get a little complicated.

Selena Gomez’s fight with lupus, an autoimmune disease is no secret. The Monte Carlo star needed to have her kidney transplanted all the way back in 2017. She even found herself going to chemotherapy. No wonder the disease has taken a toll on her.
The actor revealed how her medical condition will have a detrimental impact on the plans she has for her family. She said,
“I unfortunately can’t carry my own children. I have a lot of medical issues that would put my life and the baby’s in jeopardy. That was something I had to grieve for a while.”

While surrogacy does remain a viable option for the Wizards of the Waverly Place star, not being able to give birth to her own child is a prospect that she hasn’t found easy to come to terms with. She said,
“I thought it would happen the way it happens for everyone. [But] I’m in a much better place with that. I find it a blessing that there are wonderful people willing to do surrogacy or adoption, which are both huge possibilities for me.”
She continued,
“I’m excited for what that journey will look like, but it’ll look a little different. At the end of the day, I don’t care. It’ll be mine. It’ll be my baby.”
Guess the only thing that has kept her going are the prospects of the future she is about to share with Blanco.
