Only Murders in the Building’s Selena Gomez spent last weekend at the Toronto International Film Festival, made a pit stop in New York City for The Tonight Show, and now she is in Los Angeles for the Emmys. The Best Actress in a Comedy Series nominee walked the red carpet wearing a silver-trimmed black halter gown by Ralph Lauren. Diamond earrings and jewelry from Tiffany & Co. completed the look. Her boyfriend, Benny Blanco, didn’t join her on the red carpet.

This is Gomez’s first Best Actress Emmy nomination. She is also part of the group included in Only Murders in the Building’s Outstanding Comedy Series nomination for her work producing the show.
Regardless of whether or not Gomez wins, the actress will take the stage at the Emmys to present as well.
Gomez has a big awards season ahead of her, as her upcoming film Emilia Pérez has already generated awards show buzz. Gomez was part of the ensemble who won the Best Actress award at the Cannes Film Festival in May. She shares the honor with her Emilia Pérez co-stars Zoe Saldaña, Karla Sofia Gascón, and Adriana Paz.
While the film is a musical, and Gomez also sings, she has prioritized her acting career in the last few years. She told Vanity Fair earlier this month that her next album may be a ways off. “I don’t know if I’m ready, you know, [to release one]?” she said. “It’s a vulnerable space. Acting has always been my first love. Music is just a hobby that went out of control. Now it is a part of who I am, so I don’t think I’m going anywhere. I’m just not ready yet.”
