DETROIT – Shakira has just rescheduled the entire leg of her North American tour to next year.
The global superstar was set to go on her first tour since 2018 before the end of this year, but postponed the North American dates because of high demand and production changes.
The new North American tour dates on her "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran" World Tour now start in May 2025 and most of the shows will now be at stadiums instead of arenas.
Her first Michigan concert since August 2018 (Little Caesars Arena) will remain at Little Caesars Arena, set for Thursday, May 22. The concert was originally scheduled for December 15.
Her North American tour will now kick off on May 13 in Charlotte, NC at Bank of America Stadium before wrapping up on June 30 in San Francisco at Oracle Park.
Tickets are on sale. Tickets for the previously scheduled Detroit concert will be honored at the rescheduled date. Ticket holders unable to attend the new date now have 30 days, or until Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2024, to request a refund at point of purchase.
Shakira’s world tour starts on February 11, 2025. She will begin across Latin America, visiting Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Peru, Colombia and Chile.
