Shakira's much-awaited return to Detroit's Little Caesars Arena will now take place May 22, the Colombian pop star announced Monday morning.
She was originally scheduled to play LCA on Dec. 15 as part of her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, but has reshuffled the schedule to scale up to stadium concerts in several markets.
Existing tickets will be honored for the new May date. Other seats will go on sale to the general public at noon Friday, and fans can register for early access to tickets starting now through midnight Tuesday.
Additionally, a presale for Citi cardholders will run from noon Wednesday through midnight Thursday.
The tour reboot was prompted by "incredible fan demand and production changes," promoter Live Nation said in a Monday media release. The U.S. leg of Shakira's Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour will now kick off May 13 at Charlotte's Bank of America Stadium and run through June 30 at San Francisco's Oracle Park.
