A brand-new clip for Tracker season 2, episode 4, teases the team-up between Reenie and Colter. TV's most-watched series during the 2023-2024 cycle has officially returned with jam-packed episodes. There have been several changes in Colter's team, including the exit of Teddi, Velma's partner and one of the rewardist's handlers. Subsequently, Russell Shaw and Billie Matalon have also returned in Tracker season 2. That said, in this week's episode, Justin Hartley's procedural is taking things back to its roots with a classic team-up between Colter and Reenie.

In a Screen Rant Exclusive clip, Colter and Reenie investigate a case in the upcoming Tracker season 2, episode 4, "Noble Rot." In the outing, Reenie recruits her rewardist client to get to the bottom of a missing woman in Napa. Watch it below:

Introduced in Tracker season 1, Reenie is a lawyer who helps Colter with legal matters. While she mainly operates remotely, the same way Bobby and Velma do, she has been the rewardist's on-the-ground support for some of his most exciting cases. Aside from their working dynamic, there's also some subtle tension between Reenie and Colter. Because of this, it's difficult not to consider a romance moving forward, although both Hartley and Fiona Rene have squashed hopes that their characters may eventually become an item. Still, that shouldn't dissuade the show from leaning into their chemistry.

It does seem like this is going to be the case in Tracker season 2, episode 4, "Noble Rot." Colter and Rennie have had interactions during the show's sophomore year, but it was always done through the phone. This is the first time that they are actually sharing the screen, which makes their dynamic so much more interesting to watch. How they navigate Colter and Reenie's working and personal relationship moving forward is going to be one of the bigger long-term storylines that Tracker will have to keep an eye on.

Tracker season 2 has set up several love interests for Colter. Aside from Billie, the arrival of Camille and the revelation of their on-and-off love affair in the last decade seemingly decreases the chances of him and Reenie being together. That said, it's clear from the aforementioned clip that Colter's chemistry with Reenie is still the most electric. The flirtatious energy between the pair makes it so fun to watch them. Perhaps right now, an affair between them isn't in the cards, but it's difficult to imagine that Tracker won't even further explore it in the future.
